The DATE has turned 2006!

Hey people. its a brand new year! Lets be enthu for a while and look forward to the new year k? whahaha. my new year eve was unexpectedly fun!

but if i blog out in details, it will gonna be very long so i guess i will jus summarise. Meet cherie and kat at bedok ... we get to catch up wif cherie quite abit. If only she called us on tt xmas eve nite we wld haf joined her at the hotel! haix. Ok,but nvm todae kinda made up for it. =)

Firstly, we stopped at orchard to buy all the stuffs tt cherie wants. it wasnt THAT crowded cos it was still 4 plus but after we finished her shopping and want to get to the mrt frm taka to wisma atria... its SO DAMN CROWDED! jammed sia.

but aniwae, we still manage to get out la. hahaha. and took to cityhall. actually planned to go Suntec for steamboat .... but the price has rocketed so ridiculously high tt we haf no choice but to go somewhr else to eat. we walk like quite long and all of us were so hungry. Den, we saw Carl. Jr and the 2 of them were excited to go in.. i was quite reluctant la but no choice 2vs1 ... lose loh. So we ate there, but while we were eating, things still happen. -.-' ok to start off, the burger is really HUGE. Lik duh, but still huge la. (when i find BK alr quite filling) and i tink Carl. Jr and bk de taste roughly the same.... just one big one small lo. LOl. Den... the GROSS part. come to think of it... i wanna EEKKS and ARUGHH and EEEEEEE again. =/ while drinking tt tasteless icelemontea (its kinda diy. u haf to add the red tea, den the lemon, den the sweet syrup or else it will be very bitter. lik our plain lipton red tea) ...and i alr drank until almost the end den i take a look. OMG. there is like black black thing at the bottom... and on close scrutiny did i realise its a DAMN HOUSELY. OMGGGG. yeah i alr noe... its so disgusting. arughhhhhhh. but really, i cant do anith to get all of them out of my stomach. so no choice lorh. haiz. disgusting. but cherie insisted to tell the ppl there... so yea in the end the person gave us a blueberry cheesecake as apology. hmm. cher took a pic of it.. but she aint online now.. cant send me. i don tink i will go there for the time being now man .... eeeks

after finished eating (VERY Full), we sat there to chat.. and chat. and since we haf nothing to do, went to walk ard suntec. see quite alot of interesting stuff hahaa. Lik the POPcorn shop, how so many people crowd outside the arcade to see others play.... and a shop which sell swords and stuffs frm movies. den walk and walk and walk, nothing else le so we decided to go to esplanade and see see cos it was still quite early. 9pm i tink... and there was like many cisco police people standing guard... never see esplanade so crowded be4. it look nice at night too. Lol. and there is this river (ok, shld be singapore river) where people place balloons of hopes in there. very nice. and yah, since 9+ to 12 can consider quite a long time... we sat and play daidee until we sianz, shopped esplanade, walk and walk and walk. bascially, we did alot of walkiing todae. haha. meanwhile, we were also waiting for cherie frien. Met her ouside a place called Harry's ... and turnout its actually a .... pub? i nt really sure how to say it but its just a shop tt have bartenders selling alcholic drinks and some seats ard. and guess wad? there wasnt bouncers around, which means anybody is free to go in. So... even though me n kat were obviously underaged (LOl) we still went in wif the rest la. nothing much to see also cos its just people drinking, chatting, watching soccer match and the shop is quite small. But there is alot of ppl smoking in there. =/ actually the whole night at esplanade i saw (and breathe) alot of smokers. its so smelly la .... i really hate the smoke. oh ya btw... saw gab and his bro there too. Lol

When its ard 12am, everybody shuffled out of esplanade to the outdoor area (near sg river there). thot theres gonna be a countdown but turn out.. its jus Fireworks ... and FIREWORKS! omgosh. the fireworks are really pretty! u really can feel it when they shot all the fireworks in the sky.. and its very colourful also. red and orange and purple! and green and bright orange ...alot more i think. and they lit it up for full 10 mins. so nice! and ya after the fireworks show, everybody start moving out of the place. and only when i went out did i realise the opp building, marina i guess, has ALOT of ppl sitting out and facing the esplanade. its really... alot of people man! and can imagine the roads when everybody is streaming out and walking to the underpass to the mrt. all the security police have to stand guard and guide the crowd..... e traffic lights seem to be non-existant for a moment. and when we reach the underground, worse man. its so stuffy and hot... n of cos.. CROWDED. especially at the escalator and stairs part . cant really put it to words unless u experience it urself.

I have never, ever seen so many people at the citylink mall before. let alone conjested escalators, stairs .... some people even ran up the escalator - which is going the down direction. Lol. so ya.. u can imagine when we reached the mrt control station. But we still manage to got on mrt when it arrived la haha.

so after all the fanfare, reached tampines ard 1am and took cab home ....

I tell you what. M1 REALLY sucks lehh!!

messages frm our common friends reached kat during our journey on the mrt (which is ard 12:40 ++) ONLY reached me NOW! wth. and the timing now is 3:05am.... delayed for 2 hours plus. whooaaaa. lagging beyond words mann. but i realised tt, somehow m1-to m1 can be send faster (cos im still able to recif my parents sms) but when frm other operators... Super Slow sia.

Ok, aniwae its 3:15 , 1-1-2006 now.
